The sixth of seven children of Canadian born parents, she spent her early years in Massachusetts before her family moved to the Baltimore area. She graduated from Western High School in Baltimore in 1952.
On March 17, 1953 she married John "Tenny" Krickbaum. He predeceased her by less than a month, on February 12, 2014.
Survived by her children - John, Cathy, Janet Yutzy & Mike. Grandchildren - Jennifer Pidgeon, Jessica Hernandez, Bryan Krickbaum, Lisa Krickbaum, Ashley Yutzy & Justin Yutzy. Also 2 great-granddaughters, and two of her brothers, Al and Butch Paradise.
