Mrs. Lydia (Fox) Pitkin, a native of Zullinger, died last week at her home in San Jose, California.
Mrs. Pitkin was born near Zullinger, Sept 15, 1863, the daughter of William and Leah (Hahn) Fox. She lived in this section until her marriage when she moved to California where she as resided for the last 35 years.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. U. L. Durst, West Main Street and one sister, Mrs. David H. Bankert, 224 Park Street and nine grandchildren.
The body will arrive in Waynesboro this evening and will be taken to the Grove Funeral Home where the body may be viewed between the hours of 7 an 9 o'clock.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Grove Funeral Home in charge of Rev. R. J. Allen. Internment will be made in Green Hill Cemetery.
