He was born September 5, 1925, in Highland Township, Greene County, to Harold W. and Ada Pearl (Jones) McIntosh, Sr.
Harold was a farmer, and a registered massage therapist and retired from Allen Bradley Electrical. He was a member of Ellettsville First Baptist, also Worthington, F. & A. M. Masonic Lodge #577, and Knights of Pythias Lodge #253 and A.M.T.A.
Harold is survived by three children, H. Wade (Ellen) McIntosh, III, Sharon Elaine (James) Western of Bloomfield, Teleatha Ann (Muzzy) Mortimer of Spencer; six grandchildren, Bill (Renee) and Keven (Laura) McIntosh, Michael Jason Holtsclaw, Mary Beth (Tom) Query, Kyle (Allendra) Mortimer, Kassandra Lorene Mortimer, Ryan (Chris) Mortimer; nine great-grandchildren, Marisa, Wyatt, Lance, Isabella, Olivia, Sammy, Sydney, Silas and Christian; and sister, Doris Pauline Moulden, Elnora.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Thelma Lorene (Higgins) McIntosh, February 10, 1992.
Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Pastor Mark Villanova will officiate. Friends may call at Welch & Cornett from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. Burial will be Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
