Dorothy Louise (Mrs. Donald) Camp, age 92, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014, at Jenkins Living Center.

A funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Watertown. The celebrant will be Fr. Michael Wensing. Music will be provided by Donna Williams as organist with Blaine Martian as song leader. The family is requested to meet at the church on Friday by 9:30 a.m. for a family prayer service.

Visitation will be at the Crawford Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a 5:30 p.m. Rosary followed by a 6:00 p.m. Scripture Wake service. Visitation will continue on Friday prior to services at the church.

Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Watertown. Pallbearers will be: John A. Storsteen, Tim Magee, Sam Schaunaman, John C. Storsteen, Jason Werpy and Nathan Weber.

The family requests that any memorials be directed to the Jenkins Living Center Entertainment Fund.

Dorothy was born April 22, 1921, on the family farm in Day County, south of Webster, SD, to Harry and Sadie (Carr) Bloom. She attended Webster High School, graduating in 1939. Dorothy continued her education at Mankato School of Business in Mankato, MN.

Upon graduation, she worked for Federated Mutual Insurance in Owatonna, MN. In Owatonna, Dorothy met Donald A. Camp, her husband of 68 years. They were married in Owatonna on February 20, 1946.

The couple moved to Watertown, where they lived most of their married life. Dorothy was a stay at home mom and later worked as a secretary at the Watertown Junior High.

She loved to travel, dance, play cards and learn and play new games. She was an outgoing, social person who enjoyed meeting new friends.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Don, of Watertown; three daughters: Karen (John) Storsteen of Webster, SD, Carol (Tim) Magee of Helena, MT, and Patricia (Sam) Schaunaman of Tulsa, OK; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Earl (Cora) Bloom of Webster and LaVern Bloom of Watertown; and one sister-in-law, Irene Bloom, of Webster.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold Bloom and Don Bloom; two sisters-in-law, Margie Bloom and Gloria Bloom; infant twin grandsons; and an infant great-granddaughter, Taryn Weber.
