He married Grace Fielding Angus on 17 August 1927. He lived in Salt Lake City Ward 1 in 1920 and Spanish Fork, Utah in 1930. He registered for military service in 1918. He died on 6 January 1986, in Provo, Utah, Utah at the age of 87, and was buried in Spanish Fork.
