Marie E. Cox
Junction City, Ga. – Former Postmaster Marie E. Cox, 85, died at Macon County Regional Hospital, Montezuma.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Junction City Baptist with burial in Junction City Cemetery, according to Talbotton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cox was born Dec. 22, 1906, in Chattahoochee County, daughter of Mark T. and Ella Teate Fielder. She retired as Junction City Postmaster, was a member of Junction City Baptist Church and was the widow of Cecil W. Cox.
Survivors include a sister, Lorene Fielder, of Junction City.
In lieu of flowers, donations may go to the Georgia Baptist Children's Home or other charities.
