on Feb. 19, 1936 in Green County, KY and departed this life Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill, Greensburg, KY.
Carl retired from Stems,
New Albany, Indiana. Where he worked Over 45 years until a heart condition forced him into retirement. After retirement Carl and his wife returned to their hometown of Greensburg.
Carl is survived by his wife
Janice Patterson Ervin of the Golden Living Center-Green Hill. Two daughters,
Connie S Ervin of Indiana, Janet Ervin of Wisconsin,
step-daughter Sandra Anderson of Kentucky; two grandchildren, Eleisha Ervin Fischer of Wisconsin and
Sgt. Michael Anderson of Germany; a sister and
two brothers, Joyce Ervin Young, Elwood Ervin, and Harold Ervin all of Greensburg, and friends.
Carl Ervin was preceded in death by brothers James "Jay" Ervin, Joseph "Garnett" Ervin, and Callie "Maerene" McMahan, Hortense Nell Ervin, Lorina Ervin and others.
The family chose cre-mation with a private family viewing at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY
