Phillip Eugene Kendall Sr., age 74 of Eagle Lake, died Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 30, 2010 at Mankato Mortuary, with Rev. Bruce Nelson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Tivoli Cemetery, rural Mankato. Memorials are preferred to the Disabled American Veterans or the TBN Christian Network.

Phillip was born December 27, 1935 in Hancock, Iowa to Frank Kendall II and Lois Burgett. He attended school in Nebraska and Iowa and was a CREI Institute of Electronics graduate. He also attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Phillip served in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1954 to 1958. He married Jeanette Wieskamp on September 10, 1952 in Lincoln, NE. He was employed at Lockheed, Hallam Nuclear Power Plant in Nebraska, and Dome Petroleum in Eagle Lake. He became disabled in 1984. Phillip was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, the Eagle Lake American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, and the Eagle Lake City Council. He enjoyed woodcarving ducks and reading.

Phillip is survived by his beloved wife, son, nephew, niece, brother-in-law [survivors names omitted].
