Gus was born into a huge family with 8 brothers and sisters. He was a natural athlete loving football, basketball, and baseball in Western High School, bowling and golf later in life. Was married to Patricia for 15 years and had 2 children, Alfred and Daniel. He worked at Detroit Diesel for 33 years before complications from diabetes forced him to retire. He passed away after a long illness at age 77. He is loved and will be missed.
