Grace Bell (1874-1960,)
Adah M. Bell (1878-1952,) and
Mary Bell Burns (1882-1974,)
all buried at Greenwood Memorial Park, were among the children of
Frank Bell (1846-1908) and
Ellen M. Bell (1848-1901.)
The girls had two other siblings:
Walter Bell (born circa 1872 and died after 1930) and
Martha C. Bell (born 1881 and died after 1900.)

Sometime before 1900 the entire Bell family moved from Michigan to Spokane, Washington. Mary Bell (1882-1974) and Walter Mason Burns (1873-1956) married circa 1906. In 1910 the couple lived in Spokane with Mary's sisters (Grace Bell, 35, and public school teacher AAdah M. Bell, 32.) Walter owned a stationary and book store. In 1920 the household was the same as 1910, with the addition of a daughter, Barbara, born circa 1914; Walter was the vice president and manager of a wholesale paper company.

By 1930 Mary's sisters had left the household and by 1940 daughter Barbara had left home. In 1930 Walter worked as manager of a printing company, and in 1940 he was the president of a book supply company.
