RETIRED FARMER DEAD
Paralysis caused the death of John Bracy, 82, retired farmer of Gilboa, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. William Kerns, near Gilboa, at 7o'clcok Saturday night. He had been seriously ill for the past week.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bracy, he was born in Putnam county on Feb. 20, 1849, where he has resided all his life. He was married on July 30, 1868, to Esther Harris who died in 1912. Three children survive, Elenora Bracy, Pandora; G. Crawfis, Leipsic; Zerona Kerns, at whose home he died. Gertrude and Gustave Bracy are dead.
A sister, brother, seven grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren are living.
Funeral services were held from the Gilboa Methodist Protestant church, Rev. Bulen officiated. Burial was made in the Harman Cemetery, near Gilboa. Renshler mortuary were in charge of arrangements.
