The daughter of Albert and Thenia Hudson Clifton, she was born February 17, 1891 in Pulaski County.
She was married to Cain Dalton, whe preceded her in death.
She later married John Kelly Dalton, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dalton was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include the following children, Albert Dalton, West Somerset, Emery Dalton, Boswell, Indiana, Everett Dalton, Fowler, Indiana, Obie Dalton, Talbot, Indiana, Lonnie Dalton, Oxford Indiana; Mrs. Vinnie Shepperd, Boswell, Indiana; Boyce Dalton, Dayton, Ohio, and Dinzle Dalton, Trimble; the following stepchildren, Veneda Barwick, Talbot, Indiana, and Earl Dalton, Iva Burton, and Merl Dalton, all of Dayton, Ohio and the following brothers and sisters, Talmadge Clifton, West Somerset, Tom Clifton, Boswell, Indiana; Willie Clifton, Farmer City, IL; Rosie Floyd, West Somerset, and Mrs. Vada Vaughn, Scottsville, KY.
Funeral services were held yesterday at the Oklaona Baptist Church with the Rev. Edwin Haney officiating.
Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
