J. H. Bass Killed
A Brakeman on the M. and N. G. Meets with a Fatal Accident.
Mr. J. H. Bass, a brakeman on the Marietta and North Georgia road, met with a fatal accident on Thursday night near Alleghany, Tenn. The details of the accident are not known.
The remains were brought to Atlanta yesterday evening and were taken to the home of Mr. Bass's father, 232 Elliott street. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock, and the interment will be made at Westview. [sic]
Mr. Bass had been in the railroad business for several eyars. His father is one of the best known engineers on the Western and Atlantic road.
