She lived 93 years and 25 days.

Anna L. Croft, age 93, of Edgerton, passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014 at the Nazareth Health & Rehab Center in Stoughton, Wis. She was born Jan. 16, 1921 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Robert and Theresa (Dollinger) Mielke. Anna married August Pecaro in 1941 in Chicago. After his death, she then married Thomas Croft in 1969 in Cable, Wis.

Anna worked as a shoe model for a shoe company in Chicago, Gibson Springs in Chicago, Nunn Bush shoe factory in Edgerton, and Oak Lawn Academy in Edgerton. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Edgerton, and enjoyed bowling, sewing, and playing cards (but not for money).

Anna is survived by her daughter, Bonita Phillips of Edgerton; seven grandchildren, Bob (Glenda) Pecaro, Joe Pecaro, Roger (Jeni) Ellingsrud Jr, Harlow (Renee Kuester) Ellingsrud, Tommy (Maree Reyna) Pecaro, Lyle (Melissa) Phillips, and Craig (Alyssa Gunderson) Phillips; eight great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Robin, Chrissie, Brittni, Connor, Carson, Caitlyn and Nolan; three great-great-grandchildren, Tyler, Emma and Issac; and her dog, Riley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; two sons, August Pecaro, Jr., and Robert Pecaro; brothers and sisters, William Mielke, Theresa Gerhartz, Olga Mathia, Robert Mielke and Walter Mielke.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Edgerton, with Father David Timmerman officiating. Visitation times will be Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Edgerton, 1004 S. Main St.
