Kay Lynn Biddle, 60, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2013 following a lengthy illness.
Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of Rose (Hagar) Biddle and the late George L. Biddle, Sr.
As a lifelong resident of Middletown, Kay attended Middletown schools until high school. She graduated from Elkton Christian School in Elkton, MD.
Kay was a gentle, kind and happy person who had the ability to brighten the day of those she met. Although she never had children of her own, she was like a mother to her many nieces and nephews. She was also a caregiver to many children in Middletown, as well as to her mother, Rose.
Kay is survived by her mother Rose Biddle of Middletown; sister, Beth (Biddle) Money and her husband, James of Middletown and their children, Jamie Money of Newark and Erin Money of Miami, FL; brother, Keith Biddle and his wife, Stacy of Middletown and their children, Shaina, Saige and Gavin Biddle and sister-in-law, Nancy L. Biddle, wife of the late George Biddle, Jr. of Bear, and their children, Brent Biddle of Wilmington and Megan Biddle of Haverhill, MA, as well as many dear friends.
Services will be private.
