Funeral services for Glen Allen of Hugo will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo, with Reverend Jim Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo.
Mr. Allen died Monday, March 21, 2005, in Hugo. He was 68.Glen Reid Allen was born on September 18, 1936 In Choctaw County, Oklahoma, to Elwood and Mary (Vaughn) Allen. He married Shirley Stephenson in September in Hugo. He had lived in this area all of his life and attended the Nazarene Church. He worked and retired from the Kiamichi Railroad. He will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Elwood Allen, two sisters, Martha Buchanan and Ruth Ann Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; one son, Kevin Allen and Wife, Sandra of Hugo; his mother, Mary Allen of Hugo; three brothers, Randy Allen and Johnny Allen, both of Hugo, and Danny Allen of Ft. Towson; one grandchild, Lacee Allen of Hugo.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 23, 2005 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo.
