Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. this afternoon at the Elias Funeral Home and until 9 a.m. Tuesday when services will be held. A requiem Mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church of which he was a member, at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
Mr. Abdnour was born December 29, 1916 in Streator, a son of Louis and Mary (Ayoub) Abdnour. He married Frieda Haddad on February 17, 1946 in Peoria.
He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and B.P.O. Elks No. 591. He operated Ralph's Market at 306 S. Bloomington Street for the past 16 years.
Survivors include Mrs. Abdnour; five sons and two daughters: Louis, Joseph, Ralph, Thomas, Frank, Cathy and Louise, at home; his mother: Mrs. Mary Abdnour; and two brothers: Richard and Roy, all of Streator.
He was preceded in death by his father.
