Mrs. Leo La Plante, 67, of 2617 13th St., Two Rivers, died Monday afternoon at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital where she had been a patient since Nov. 11.

Mrs. La Plante, nee Selma Ann Pillasch, was born Jan 2, 1900, in the Town of Morgan, Oconto County, daughter of the late Gustave and Minnie (Wilnitz) Pillasch. When she was a child the family brought her to Two Rivers. June 10, 1922 she married Arthur Anderson Gibson, who died April 27, 1930. On May 9, 1931, she was married to Leo A. La Plante in Manitowoc. For 40 years the family resided at Town of Scott, before coming to Two Rivers six years ago. She was a member of Our Savior Ladies Aid Society.

Besides her husband, she leaves three sons, Randall (Jymie) Gibson of Ontario, California, Leslie (Pat) Gibson of Town of Scott, Wayne (Joyce) La Plante of Green Bay; three duaghters, Mrs. Arvin (Leila) Clarksen, Mrs. Emmett (Donna) Coenen and Mrs. Travis (Shirley) Hornburg, of Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Gust (Alma) Brahkane and Mrs. Leonard (Martha) Miller, of Two Rivers, two brothers, Andrew (Agnes) Pillasch, Orville (Julia) Pillasch, of Two Rivers and 32 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers and at 2 p.m. at our Savior Luthern Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. A.L. Schmeling officiating. Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. this Tuesday evening.
