She was the daughter of the late Isaac Derne of Frederick County. She had a kindly and lovable disposition which endeared her to a host of friends. She was the oldest member both in years and membership of the Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by the following daughters: Miss Sarah Adams and Mrs. Harry Robert Rudy, Hagerstown; Mrs. Clyde H. Wilson, Baltimore, and the following grandchildren: Harry R. Rudy, Jr., Mrs. Maurice Jones, Baltimore: Miss Jeraldine Leaman [sic Seaman], Chicago; and two great grandchildren, Mary and Daniel Plank, Chicago.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon, services from the home at 2 o'clock by Rev. Dr. William S. Hess. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
