In 1850 Adam was living in Genesee, New York, with his three unmarried daughters and his grandson Rufus Delamater. Father of Cynthia (dy), Silas (dy) Lucretia Sabin, Jeremiah, Sophia, Caroline (dy), Harriet Delameter, Silas, Caroline, Malvira, Charles Edward and Abiel.

Burial record states: "voted for Washington at his second election"
