Tim Tubbs, 49, of Holt Community, died Sunday, March 7, in a local hospital.
Mr. Tubbs was a native of Miami, FL but had lived in NW Florida since 1974. Mr. Tubbs was a truck driver and a veteran of the Vietnam War and was in the US Marine Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Tubbs, three daughters and son-in-law, Cheryl and Kenny Barnes, Dawn Tubbs, Tammy Tubbs; his grandmother, Ida Tubbs; one sister, Charlene Wendling, five grandchildren: Tiffany Barnes, Jeremy Barnes, Courteney Loyer, Benjamin Musgrave and Timothy Neal Tubbs III.
Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at Barrancas National Cemetery. Donnie Sowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
