William Edgar "Pete" Hennage, 85, of Montross, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014. He was the husband of Edna C. Hennage, a farmer, life long member of Grant United Methodist Church and a World War II Army veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Marks; grandchildren, Samantha Marks, Sarah Book, Wesley Marks, Danny Marks, Jeffery Standbridge, Laura Morgan, Jessee Standridge, Catherine Kennedy and Charlotte Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Callie Morgan, Emily Morgan, Joshua Morgan, Madeline Standbridge, Hudson Standbridge and Braden Standbridge. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel with Rev. Julia Larch officiating. Interment will be in the Grant United Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Montross Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 1174, Montross, VA 22520.
