Claud Wright, was born December 5, 1894, in Jackson Township, the son of William McClelland and Mary Alice (Horn) Wright.
He was married to Jessie, in Illinois, and they were the parents of a daughter and son.
Claud Wright, lost his life on December 9, 1926, in a gas explosion, at the Francisco coal mine, near Princeton, Gibson County, Indiana.
His wife suffered a nervous breakdown after the explosion, and died from her grief, on December 3, 1927, in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana.
