Billy Smith Lewis, 87 of Warsaw, died Friday, November 18, 2005 at the Carroll County Hospital. He was the son of the late John M. and Nancy E. Lewis. Billy was a Farmer and also worked for the Kentucky Highway Department, He was a WW II Army Veteran, a member of the United Methodist Church in Carrollton, He was also a member of the Masons and the Odd Fellows. Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Millie Marie Lewis, and two sons; Darrell Ray Lewis and John Smith Lewis.
Survivors include four Grandchildren; Darrell Ray Lewis Jr. of Warsaw, Adam Wes Lewis of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Jeremy Smith Lewis of Ghent, and Tracie Ellen Marksberry of Warsaw. Also surviving are five Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, at 1:00 p.m. at the Carlton-Lowder Funeral Home in Warsaw. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-8p.m. Burial will be in the Carrollton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
