WILLIAMSTON - Irene M. Allen, 92, of Williamston, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014.
She was born October 30, 1921 in Wheatfield Twp to Curtis and Christina (Gerdes) Snedeker. She married Robert Allen, worked for many years as the principal's secretary at Williamston Middle School. She loved to vacation up north at the family cottage in Paradise. She was very active in the community and spent much of her time at the Williamston Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen, and her three brothers, Carlos, Wendell, and Donald Snedeker.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19 from 6pm to 8pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes – Williamston Chapel, 205 East Middle St., Williamston. The funeral service will be on Thursday, March 20 at 11am at West Locke Wesleyan Church, 2652 Haslett Rd., Williamston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Williamston Senior Center, P.O. Box 343 Williamston, MI 48895, or West Locke Wesleyan Church, 2652 Haslett Rd, Williamston, MI 48895.
