Dies After Lingering
Illness, Rites Monday

Mrs. Lillian M. Baldwin, 74, 503
Russell street, died at Cass county
hospital at 4:40 o'clock Friday
afternoon after a lingering illness.
She was born in Flora on August
18, 1872, the daughter of Henry
and Martha (Woods) Maxwell.
Surviving are three sons, Harley
Gard and Pearl Gard, both of
Ohio, and Robert Baldwin, city;
three daughters, Mrs. Faye Watts,
Mrs. Martha Kistler, and Mrs.
Esther Pearson, all of this city;
two brothers, Ellis Maxwell and
Harry Maxwell, both of Flora;
three sisters. Mrs. Minnie Mosier,
Mrs. Effie Overholser, and Mrs.
Grace Barker, all of Flora; 21
grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the
Chase-Miller funeral home chapel
at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning
with Rev. M. L. Robinson offic-
iating. Burial will be In the Mt.
Hope cemetery. The body will be
taken to the residence this morning
where friends may call.
