James A. 'Buddy' Franklin
James A. "Buddy" Franklin, 44, of Sumiton died Nov. 21, 2000, Walker Baptist Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today, Nov. 22, 2000, in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial in the Good Hope Cemetery. Revs. James R. Hockensmith and Lane Sargent will officiate. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
He was employed by Great Danes Trailers, were he worked as a parts runner. He was also a member of the Sumiton Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abner and Evelyn Franklin.
He is survived by his son, Adam Lee Franklin of Graysville; sister, Pat Sullivan of Sumiton; brother, David Franklin and his wife, Dianne of Sumiton; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a special friend, Alex "Boo" Harvill of Graysville.
