Jane A. Ford Birch was 61 years of age, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005. Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Dec. 26, 1943. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Thayer; husband, Ed; sons, Charles his wife, Teri Ford, and Earl Ford; a brother, Joe Thayer and family; stepdaughters, Amy and Julie; and grandson, Reed. Jane spent many years living and working in California. She worked for the Palm Desert post office. When she moved to Las Vegas she went to work for Don Gilday Realty. Both sons started school here in Clark County. Jane went to work for Shirley Collins in 1987, and remained in that job. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice, 3931 N. Buffalo, Las Vegas, NV 89129. She will be greatly missed by her husband, family and friends. A kind and beautiful soul. Thank you Jane for sharing your life with all of us. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Dec. 10, with services to follow, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S.
