The Huntsville Times, Friday, April 15, 1949. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. for Charles Eason Barnett, 50, of Route 2, Madison, who died at his home Wednesday night after a short illness. Services will be conducted from the residence with the Rev. Joe Anglin officiating. Interment will be in Faulk Cemetery at Monrovia, with Chambers Funeral Chapel in charge. Surviving are one son, Charles E. Barnett Jr., of Route 2, Madison; one stepson, William D. Barnett, of Athens; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Knox, of Harvest, and Mrs. Rilla Smithy, Route 2, Madison; one stepdaughter, Miss Susie Mae Barnett, Athens; and Harry Barnett, both of Huntsville; two brothers, Allen Barnett and _________.
