She was born February 3, 1925, in Princeton, was a former accountant for the former Holley Hotel in Charleston and was also a hairdresser for the former Beauty Haven in South Charleston.
She is survived by sons and a daughter-in-law, Chester and Karen Wingo of Dunbar, and Warren Wingo II of St. Albans; brother, Edgar Goad of Mullins; sister-in-law, Ruth Goad, also of Mullins; grandchildren, Pamela Wingo Korsen of Virginia Beach, Va., Kelly Rae Wingo Hart of Morgantown, Nickie Painter of Hurricane and William Burdette of Winfield; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 8 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2005, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Jerry Cline officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. An additional service will be 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Beckley, on Tuesday, December 13, 2005. The burial will immediately follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park.
