White River Jct., VT – Marilyn L. Kellner, 80, died Thursday evening, March 20th at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
She was born October 29, 1933 in Lebanon, NH a daughter of Howard M. and Alice Ruth (Stevens) Eastman. Marilyn attended the West Lebanon High School before moving to Franklin, NH. She remained in Franklin, where she raised her family, until returning to the Upper Valley in 2006. She has lived at Graystone Village in White River Jct., VT for the past several years.
Marilyn enjoyed going out to lunch with her friends and family as well as reading and watching Television. She also enjoyed collecting horses and dolphins.
She is predeceased by her first husband Robert Leighton, her second husband Frederick Kellner and a brother Richard Eastman.
She leaves behind four sisters, Barbara Graham of Windsor, Eleanor Small and her husband Henry of White River Jct., Carol Davis and her husband Allen of Franklin, NH and Frances Cain of Tamarac, FL. She also leaves her sons John Leighton, Michael Leighton and Mathew Leighton all of Franklin, NH; two daughters Barbara Moulton of Franklin, NH and Sally Millington of Hudson Falls, NH as well as eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. on Thursday March 27th from 1PM - 2PM. A funeral service will follow at 2PM with Pastor Eric Ramage of the West Lebanon Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the West Lebanon Cemetery later in the spring.
