Sam is the son of James "Ben" Allen and Lizzie McGhee. Sam was laid to rest on 7 Feb 1947. He leaves his wife Mattie Allen to cherish his memory. Some records interpreted his birth date as an "11" but it's a "1" with a comma. His TN Delayed Birth Certificate verifies this. Sam worked in Oak Ridge. He did general labor. I do not know if Sam and Mattie had children.
