T.M. Allen, 82, of Big Spring, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at his residence.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Denton Valley Cemetery, south of Clyde, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.


He was born September 19, 1931 in Eula, Texas and married Mary Allen McKiernan March 10, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas.


Mr. Allen served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1975, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant.


He then worked for the United States Postal Service as a clerk.


T. M. was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was an avid hunter and fisherman.


Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Allen of Big Spring; two daughters, Sandra Kay Martin and husband, Walter of Round Rock and Paula Sue Allen of Leander; one son,Troy Michael Allen of Big Spring; one brother, John Allen of Odessa; and one sister, Sue Windham of Abilene.


He was preceded in death by his parents.
