CLAUS J. HEINSOHN

Funeral services for Claus J. Heinsohn, retired merchant, of 353 Grove street, who died at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at a local infirmary, will be held at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at St. Johannes Lutheran Church, the Rev. Dr. I. Ernest Long officiating. Burial will be in Bethany cemetery, directed by Stur's.
Mr. Heinsohn was sixty-nine years old and a native of Germany, a son of the late John Henry Heinsohn and Mrs. Wiebke Schwardt Heinsohn. He was a member of the Charleston Rifle Club and of Jasper Lodge No. 6, Knights of Pythias.
Surviving are his widow, who was before marriage Miss Emma Martschink; two sons, Alvin F. Heinsohn, of North Charleston, and Ernest W. Heinsohn of Charleston; a daughter, Mrs. Eric L. Gatch, of Charleston; five grandchildren, and a sister. Mrs. A. Sophie Schneider, of Charleston.
