Mrs. Benson, 76 died Monday in a Quinton Nursing Home. She became a member of the Missionary Baptist Church at 17 years of age, and married George Benson at Texana on November 10, 1910.
Survivors include her husband George of the home on route 4, Stigler; four sons, Lee of Tulsa, Rudolph of Garden Grove, CA, Roland of Sallisaw and Ervin of Brooken; five daughters, Virginia Carlton of Whitefield, Wanda Holdridge of Hoyt, Evelyn Moseley of Houston, TX, Darlene Baker of Tulsa and Shirley Smith of Baton Rouge, LA; three sisters Alice Waltman, Laura Green and Jaunita Price all of North Little, Arkansas; 27 grand children and 14 great grand children.
