A. S. Kellogg
ALBION -- A. S. Kellogg, 64, of 1003 Michigan avenue, died suddenly Tuesday night in Sheldon Memorial hospital after suffering a heart attack,his second in 48 hours. He was born Sept. 3, 1883, in Scotia, Nebr., and had been a resident of Albion since 1936, when he retired as a representative of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy railroad with headquarters in Chicago, his home then. In late years he had traveled extensively giving memory demonstrations and lectures. He was a member of the First Presbyterian church and Murat Lodge No. 14, F. and A. M. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mabel Kellogg; a daughter, Miss Thelma Kellogg, superintendent of nurses in Sheldon Memorial hospital; a son, Jack S. Kellogg, of Albion; and four sisters, Mrs. Grace Smith of San Dimas, Calif., Miss Florence Kellogg of Pasadena, Calif., Mrs. Portia Anderson of San Bernardine[sic], Calif., and Mrs. Mary Peckham of East Millsboro, Pa. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday from the Marsh chapel by the Rev. H. J. Bryce and burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
