OBITUARY :
JACOB BONEBRAKE HESS died Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. H. A. Hough, 322 North Broad street, Waynesboro, aged 91 years.
Born and reared east of Waynesboro, he was the son of John N. and Catherine Bonebrake Hess. He retired in 1912 and moved to Waynesboro.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church, the First Bible Class of Waynesboro and the 8O-year-old Club of Waynesboro.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. John A. Tharp, Mrs. H. A. Hough, and Mrs. R. H. Carson, all of Wayneshoro, and Mrs. Charles Currens, Baltimore; brothers, E. F, Hess, Kauffman's Station; A. B. Hess, Fleetwood, Pa.; A. E. Hess, Nashville, Tenn., and Donald B. Hess, Waynesboro. Thirty-three grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral this afternoon (Tuesday) at 2:30 o'clock at the Grove Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Dr. B. Clinton Ritz officiating. Interment in Green Hill cemetery.
