Delia Allmand, 96, died Thursday at 4 a.m. in Glendale, Calif., after a long illness. She was a former resident of Greenville.

Funeral services are set for Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Sorrells and Sons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harrison Baker officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park.

She was born March 31, 1874 in Hunt County the daughter of James T. and Delia Miles Woodall. On Nov. 16, 1890, she married C. Walter Allmand. She was a member of Wesley Methodist Church in Greenville.

Mrs. Allmand lived in Greenville for 45 years, moving here from the Wagner Community. For the past 14 years she lived in California.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Grace Robinson, Bass Lake, Calif., Mrs. Ruth Hossack, Burbank, Calif. and Mrs. Joyce Allmand of New York City, N.Y. one brother, Ben Woodall, Hollywood, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Dick Griffin and Miss Barbara Woodall, both of Hollywood, Calif. and Mrs. Joe Funk of El Paso; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Delia Allmand, 96, of Burbank, Calif., will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Sorrells and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Harrison Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Allmand, a former Greenville resident, died Thursday in Glendale, Calif., after a long illness.

Pallbearers will be Howard Paullus, O.M. Delaney, Aub Woodard, Louis Yelverton, Ed Rutherford and J.E. Bush.
