He died at Washington Center, Washington, D.C. He is survived by his wife, Frances (Stufflebean), formerly of Brookfield; a son, William S. Kemp; a daughter, Sarah Jane Brady; a sister, Helen Foster; and a brother, Kenneth L. Kemp."
