ORISKANY FALLS
A Rochester despatch of recent date says:
S. J. Alcott, 76 years old, who lived at 28 Joslyn place, and who was employed as a shopman by the Rochester Railway & Light company, dropped dead at the Front street shops of the company a few minutes after 7 o'clock yesterday morning. Mr. Alcott was born at Oriskany Falls and had lived here for many years He is survived by four daughters, Mrs George W. Sanford and Mrs. William Neary of this city, Miss Miranda Alcott of Williamsport, Pa., and Miss Josephine Alcott of Indianapolis; one son, F. Courtney Alcott of this city."
