Our sweet mother, friend, and sister Jacqueline "Jackie" Mary Larsen passed peacefully on Thursday, March 20th, 2014 at the age of 61. She was the youngest of five children born to Parley and Sarah Larsen. She was born and raised in Boise where she resided until her passing.

As a young woman Jackie was active in many social settings, mainly the LDS Church and the Pep Club at Capital High School. She was a baton twirler and was featured with her team in the Idaho Statemen. It was during these exciting years that she developed lifelong friendships.

After graduating from Capital High in 1971, she attended Rick's College and graduated from BYU. Throughout her life Jackie enjoyed fishing, camping, skiing, parties and celebrations, bowling, and barbequing.

Some of her most enduring friendships grew from her job at Boise, Inc (Boise Cascade), where this year marked her 35th anniversary.

At the age of 33, she gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Michelle. Jackie devoted the remainder of her life to providing love and support to Michelle without hesitation. Her proudest moment was witnessing her daughter's marriage to Jacob Weickum where Jackie was honored to walk her down the aisle.

Jackie will always be remembered for the warmth and kindness she offered to everyone. She put others needs before her own and always saw the positive in people. She is a loyal friend and stood by others without expecting anything in return. She will be celebrated and remembered daily for her smile, laughter, and sweet disposition.

She is survived by her three siblings Ted Larsen of Los Angeles, California; Kitty Markley of San Jose, California; Danny Larsen of Kaysville, Utah, and; her daughter Michelle Weickum of Boise, Idaho. She is preceded by her parents Sarah and Parley Larsen and her sister Sherrie Cherry.

A celebration of her rich and full life will be held at: Mountain View Church of the Brethren on Friday, March 28th, 2014 at 11:00am. There will be a public viewing at 10:00am.
