A Celebration of Life for Daisy G. Patterson, will be a Graveside service on Friday, March 28, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at Panther Creek Cemetery near Adel, Iowa. No visitation with the family is planned at this time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in her name.

Daisy G. Patterson, 79, the daughter of Howard and Fannie (Lenze) Cassady, was born April 30, 1934, in Dallas County, Iowa. She attended rural country schools.

Daisy had lived in Dallas County, in the Adel area, prior to moving to Newton in 2005. Daisy had worked hard her entire life, from farming to driving a semi-truck, but had devoted her life to her family.

Daisy, died on March 25, 2014, at her home in Newton, under the care of Hospice. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; husband; a son Harlan in 1960; a granddaughter Jenny Lynn Tague; and two brothers: Earl and Eldon.

Those left to honor Daisy's memory her three sons, which include Robert Petro of Pella; her two daughters; her twelve grandchildren, which include David, Danny and Dennis Petro; several great-grandchildren; her brothers: Charles Cassady of Arizona and Elmer Cassady of Williamson, IA; and many friends.
