He was a retired employee of the Acme Aluminum Co., a member of the United Methodist Church, Garrard County, Ky. end IOOF No. 510, Eagles Aerie 321, American Legion Post 5, veteran of World War I, member of the Gem City Democratic Club. Survivors include his wife Myrtle J.; 3 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Thelma) Rinehart, Mrs. I. J. (Doris) Cooper, Mrs. William (Phyllis) Ballard; 1 son, Ethan B. Jr.; 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Services 2 p.m. Monday at the Morris Sons Funeral home, 1809 E. Third St. Burial Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dayton Heart Fund.
