Services were being arranged yesterday for Dr. Vincent J. O'Conor, 69, chairman of the department of urology at Wesley Memorial hospital and professor emeritus in the department of urology at Northwestern university.
Dr. O'Conor died Saturday night in his residence in the Pearson hotel, 190 E. Pearson st. He was a native of LaSalle and had practiced in Chicago since 1917. He was a former chief of staff at Wesley and was head of Northwestern's urology department from 1947 to 1961.
Dr. O'Conor leaves his widow, Katherine; two daughters, Mrs. Mary McNulty and Mrs. Anne Newton; a son, Dr. Vincent J. Jr.; 21 grandchildren, and a sister, Sister Mary Andrea.
