She was a graduate of Hickory High School and Western Carolina University. She studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York and Central Piedmont Community College. She also taught photography classes as well as having her own darkroom. She was a "Jill of all trades", conquering automotive and construction projects without a worry. An avid music fan, she attended many music festivals around the country and found great joy from the gift of music. Glory loved the outdoors including camping and bird watching and she bred and raised many Brittany Spaniels.

She was a light that shone on everyone she came in contact with, a people person who never knew a stranger.

She was the wife of Frank Zulauf. Glory is preceded in death by her parents, Ronald A. Geyer, of New York and Betsy Baily Geyer of Hickory.
