Mrs. Ida I Sherman, 84, widow of Henry R., died in elyria Memorial Hospital shortly before noon yesterday after two years illness. Her home was at 323 12th St.
Born in Red Haw, March 7, 1872, Mrs. Sherman had lived in Elyria 54 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and St Clair Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are a son, Arthur E. Sherman of Elyria; two grandsons, Arthur R Sherman of Elyria and Howard E Sherman in the US Navy, stationed in Sandusky, and five great grandchildren. She also leaves two borthers, Arthur Evert of West Salem and Clement Evert of Ashland: and four sisters, Mrs Mary Bruce and Mrs. Alta Rickel of Ashland, Mrs Bessie Norris of Red Haw and Mrs Cleo Stevenson of Medina. Her husband died Feb 14, 1950.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
