Her first husband was my uncle, Nelson E. Arnold, who was killed in WWII. During their marriage, they were blessed with three children; daughter, Joyce, and sons, Joe and Mickey.
After being widowed, Aunt Frankie was married to Harold Bratton and was the mother to two more beloved daughters; Jean and Johnnie. After the marriage to Harold, Aunt Frankie later married her third husband, Jim Robinson.
Frankie Robinson was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and doing crafts. She loved flowers and gardening.
She died at the West View Nursing Center in West Plains, Missouri and was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, her son, Mickey, four brothers, and two sisters.
Back in 1948, Aunt Frankie buried her little four year old son who was killed when a train crashed into their car which was stalled on the railroad tracks at Brookland, Arkansas. At that time she bought a plot beside him for herself. Throughout her life, she talked of being buried beside her baby as she always missed him so very much. She was cremated and, as per her wish, her ashes were taken to Jonesboro, Arkansas and buried by her precious little son, Mickey.
Aunt Frankie was survived by four children; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beedie and Sid; and several nieces and nephews.
Our dear Aunt Frankie is much loved and missed by all.
