Sgt. U.S. Army, Vietnam War-Mr. Grube died of natural causes at his residence in Pekin, Illinois on 3-25-2014.

He is the son of Mr. Wilbert & Mrs. Wanda {Brent} Grube of Pekin, and the father of two sons, Mr. Michael Grube and Mr. Scott {Nicole} Grube, both of Pekin, and two daughters, Miss Erika Gilmore of Pekin, and Mrs. Kelly {Randy} Painter of Virginia, and six Grandchildren, and one sister Mrs. Jean Benniger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two infant Children.

Mr. Grube served God & Country during the Vietnam War, and earned the Silver Star for Gallantry in Action, and returned home to work for the Postal System for 40 years, and retire in 2007.

Awards: Silver Star Medal, Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with Two Service Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal.
