A memorial service will be conducted for Mr. Daniel on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. from the Olive Branch Baptist Church with the Reverend John Bradley officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Daniel was born in Franklin, Georgia on April 9, 1948, the son of the late Willie Carl Nixon Daniel and Sammy Lee Daniel. He was a Christian by faith.
He enjoyed all aspects of construction and had held several positions in the field, working at one time as a sheet metal hanger and also a machinist for Charles M. Jordan Saw Mill Company.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing! He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by three Daughters, Debbie Baker (Danny) of Roanoke, AL., Deborah Bowen of Carrollton, GA., and Tracey Daniel of Heflin, AL.; three step daughters, Tresia Hodges (James) of Franklin, GA., Denise Fakter (James Wilson) also of Franklin, GA., and Diane Sims of Woodland, AL.; two step sons, Paul Broach of Heflin, AL., and Tim Fakter of Franklin, GA., two brothers, George Daniel (Marlene) of Franklin, GA., and Dale Daniel of Fla.; fifteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
