Mrs. Bernice Welch
RUSTON - Mrs. Bernice Harvey Welch, 65, of Ruston, LA died in the Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston, LA Saturday night after a short illness. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today in the Spears Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.Clyde Baxter officiating, assisted by the Rev. Markham. Burial will be in the Long Straw Cemetery near Choudrant, LA.
Mrs. Welch was a native of Choudrant , LA and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Survivors Include two sons, Thomas Neal Harvey of Norfolk, VA; Benjamin Werner Harvey of Ferriday, LA; three sisters, Mrs. Dellia Holtzclaw, Mrs. Ruth Emory and Miss Louise Hogan, all of Choudrant, LA; two brothers, M.D. Hogan of Choudrant, LA, and H. J. Hogan of Bryan, TX and six grandchildren.
